Monsters Game

Last night we took the family to their first hockey game...the Lake Erie Monsters! What a blast we had watching the kids have such a great time....we got there a little too early, but luckily i had a bag of marshmallows in my purse! the kids sat on the steps and had a snack while we waited for the gates to open. We got in and took Mckenzie to find her girl scout troop (they were the color guard for the game!) We found our seats and the dancing began!! Max and Maddie had a blast dancing to all the fun music and with the mascot and cheerleaders! It was a family fun event...lots of lights, music and fun for everyone...Max and Matt even made it on the jumbotron! Defiantly something we will do again!

awesome week

Well, it has been an awesome 77 degrees these last few days here in berea! While the girls have been stuck at school during the day, max and i have been visiting many playgrounds and having lots of picnics! He really did not remember going to the park, because last year he was only 1...this year, it is so fun to see him explore and go up and down the slides! He does make me a bit nervous though cause he does not know his boundries yet and will lean over open tall spaces..yikes! We had our first cookout of the season with our neighbors today and it was awesome! love watching the kids play basketball while us grown ups hang out and talk! after this teaser to the weather, I am really looking forward to this summer!

what a week!

Well, I made it through the week! That is a pretty big accomplishment for me this week because Matt was in Texas all week for training for his new job. I was pretty nervous about it...not just because I would be taking care of the 3 kiddos by myself, but because I also do not sleep well at night without another adult in the house...go ahead and make fun of me, but I am always worried something is going to happen at night, and I am on my own. Well, besides max having a bad head cold, maddie hurting her knee, and the pipes becoming clogged...it went well! We kept busy going to the zoo, lots of lunches out at playlands, and dinners out with Omah! I am proud of myself, and exhausted too! Can't wait for Matt to get home tonight...
